Malignx by Page63

Malignx tells the story of the forgotten maligno diaspora in the year 2119. That period marked the end of the “Taguan Conflict,” the battle between malignos and humans, and immediately paved the beginning of the “Kislap” Era,” their peaceful co-existence. Peace was made possible through an agreement that malignos will no longer have access to their realm, the Off-World, and thus integrate with humans in the physical world, or On-World. Malignos would no longer have the ability to step in and out of both worlds, as they have been able to do since their existence. The Off-World was shut forever.

Bituin hopes her trip to Phobos will prove fruitful and propel her to find her place in building this bright, new city. But what makes a new world a dream to live in?

The current story takes place a hundred years after the conflict. It is centered around Bituin Pulajanes, a mechanic of Banahaw-1, the first commercial space freighter bound for Phobos, one of Mars’ moons. On this moon will rise Manila Plus, a new colony developed by Capital C, a Filipino conglomerate with ambitions to create cities in new territories in space.
